You will smell a special tench after rubbing the plant, which smells like chicken poop. That's why it is also called "chicken poop vine" in Chinese.
Chinese Fever Vine can be eaten as a vegetable, and can also be used as medicine. Its roots and stems can help with eliminating phlegm, antitussive, diarrhea, and detoxification.
Hakka dumpling is mainly made of Chinese Fever Vine leaves, with mulberry leaves, chopped green onion, brown sugar, and crushed peanuts.The taste is sweet and salty, and it has a special flavor.
