Eligibility: Eligible entrants must be currently residing in Hong Kong; contestants must be the creator and/or owner of the entries. Multiple entries from one Instagram account are allowed.
How to Enter:

Like the competition post on Instagram.

Upload a photo and a caption depicting and describing a way to reduce environmental impact. Both English and Chinese submissions are accepted.

Include hashtag #EarthDayGrowGreen in your caption. (Collectively, an Entry)

No purchase or payment is necessary to participate and win.

Entries must comply with Instagram’s Terms of Use.
Deadline: The contest begins on 15th April 2017 and ends on 22nd April 2017 2359hours (Hong Kong time). For an entry to be valid, the submission must be visible on Instagram on 22nd April 2017 at 2359hrs (Hong Kong time) when the contest closes.
Prize: There will be 3 winners in total. The winners will each receive one Rooftop Republic Urban Farming (henceforth Rooftop Republic)’s microgreens growing set (worth HKD250, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash). Multiple entries WILL NOT result in multiple prizes. Each winner will only win one prize. Prize will be delivered to the address in Hong Kong winners provided to Rooftop Republic (only applicable to Hong Kong residents).
Winner selection: Winning entries will be selected by our designated panel of jduges according to
(1) Creativity
(2) Quality
(3) Depicts an action/practice that helps reduce our impact on the environment.
Any images posted before the start date of the contest will not be considered. All entries must be in compliance of all terms and conditions listed here in order to be considered.
Winner notification: The winning submissions will be announced on 23rd April 2017 on Rooftop Republic’s Instagram. Rooftop Republic may repost the winning entries on Rooftop Republic’s Instagram account with attribution to the winners’ instagram account.
Winners will be requested to contact Rooftop Republic via Direct Message to arrange for prize redemption.
Prize claim: Winners will have 14 days to contact Rooftop Republic after the winning submissions are announced on Instagram. The deadline for winners to reach out to Rooftop Republic via Instagram Direct Message would be 6th May 2017 (2359hrs HKT). Should any winner miss the deadline for prize claim, no other entry will be selected as winner.
Prize delivery: Winners are required to provide a valid Hong Kong address for prize delivery. Should the prize is unable to be delivered, the prize will be returned to Rooftop Republic and no subsequent delivery attempt will be arranged.
Protection of personal data: No personal data will be collected during the competition, except when winners are asked to contact Rooftop Republic after the winner announcement. In this case, any personal data will only be collected for prize delivery / redemption purposes and will not be used for any other kind of purposes.
Rooftop Republic reserves the right to disqualify any person it believes has intentionally violated these Terms and Conditions and void all associated entries.
We ask that PRIVATE accounts to be made PUBLIC during the contest period in order to be entered.
By entering this contest, each participant acknowledges that he/she accepts the Terms & Conditions herein.
This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered or associated with Instagram.
Rooftop Republic reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions and/or cancel the contest at its sole discretion. In the event of dispute, Rooftop Republic’s decision will be final.
