We are currently seeking an Events & Marketing Volunteer to join our team to be involved in one of the most exciting events coming up - the GreenFest 2020, an annual event to engage and inspire our new generations to take affirmative action towards a more sustainable future. 
 
The event brings together young people and top change-makers from across Hong Kong to immerse themselves in a different sustainability-related topic each year. This year's GreenFest will be themed around innovative ideas and creative solutions for individuals and industries to pave the way towards a circular economy.

We are looking for individuals passionate about sustainability and circular economy, who want to influence positive change amongst Hong Kong's youth.

Volunteers will directly work with our GreenFest team and you will have the opportunity to get involved in the following key areas of our events:
 

• Support in the event execution

• Coordination with speakers, workshop facilitators and event partners

• Support promotional activities for the event

• Event logistics preparation and on the ground support during event

• Other ad-hoc events & marketing tasks

 

We're looking for someone:

• Interested in events, marketing, sustainability, urban farming and circular economy 

• With prior experience in event and/or project management. Non-Cantonese speakers are welcomed to apply

• Available in September - November 2020, and on the event days.

• Possessing a good command in Chinese (Cantonese) and English (speaking & writing) preferred.

• Who is enthusiastic and self-motivated, happy to work in a team or manage tasks alone 

• With the right to volunteer in Hong Kong as Rooftop Republic is not able to sponsor a visa.
