Programme description:
Get started on a journey towards a more conscious and plant-based eating with us! Together with certified Health Coach, Plant-Based Homecook and renowned Instagram personality Christine Wong, we will be running a one-day only workshop where you can learn about growing your own food, and learning creative ways to adopt more seasonal, plant-based and nutritious eating in your daily lives.
During this 2-hour session, we will cover the below topics:
Urban Farming and Growing Your Own Food
This introductory workshop provides a taster to the essentials of organic growing in a city environment like Hong Kong. Participants will be given an overview of key considerations when growing their own at home and will grow their own microgreens set to take home.
Cooking Demonstration
Our instructor, Christine, is a firm supporter of local produce and seasonal eating, brings with her a wealth of experience in plant-based cooking, and she will share her take on creative recipes that are not only healthy for the body, but delicious and absolutely picture perfect! Christine will also share her tips on how to incorporate plant-based and seasonal eating into your busy daily schedule and how to get all in the family eating well and sustainably!

Instructor:
Christine Wong is a New York plant-based food stylist & photographer, health coach and graphic designer. She is the founder of Yommme® and Instagram account @conscious_cooking (over 84K followers) which celebrate mindful eating and conscious living. Christine is a strong supporter of New York City's local food community, and does cooking demos twice a year at Union Square Greenmarket, and has long-term partnerships with local growers, Gotham Greens, Good Water Farms and with GrowNYC.
