Turmeric will thrive anywhere from full sun to partial shade, although in the hottest regions.
Moderate amount of water
The best soil selection is well-drained, loose and fertile sandy soil. If the unsprouted rhizome seeds are in standing water or very moist soil, they are susceptible to rotting.
Grow it in a container that is at least 10-12 inches deep, with drainage holes at the bottom. It can grow better in a 15 inches deep pot.
Space large trees at least 10-20 feet apart.
