Training Locations
It is a great honour for Rooftop Republic to partner with the Business Environment Council, and with the support of DBS Foundation, to launch the Rooftop Republic Academy and establish our newest rooftop farm project within the Jockey Club Environmental Building in Kowloon Tong. This building has also been awarded the Platinum rating from the BEAM Plus Existing Buildings, which is the first commercial building in Hong Kong to receive the highest recognition.
The rooftop farm is the main campus for the hands-on/practical part of the training course. The site is designed to feature functions and features of an urban farm, featuring growing beds, nursery and herbs growing area, an automated irrigation system, vermi-composting, eco-enzyme station and composting station. This design not only promotes a greater awareness of sustainable and green city living, but allows all trainees to have a comprehensive and practical hands-on training during the course of the programme. Apart from the rooftop farm, our collaboration with various partner organic farms in Hong Kong provides opportunities for trainees to deepen their practical knowledge.

Classroom-based part of the training will be conducted at Dream Impact.
Dream Impact is a community of socially minded entrepreneurs. We share the same vision in creating collective social impact through our businesses and together develop an innovative and resilient network.

The training and classes will also be held in various organic farms, agriculture-focused organisations in Hong Kong.

If you decide to withdraw 7 or more days prior to the event date, Rooftop Republic Urban Farming will retain a 20% administration fee.

If you decide to withdraw less than 7 days prior to the event date, Rooftop Republic Urban Farming will retain 100% of the event fee.

Rooftop Republic Urban Farming reserves the right to cancel events.

Events may be postponed or rescheduled due to weather conditions.

If we cancel the event you will be entitled to a 100% refund, or you may choose to transfer to another date, subject to availability.

Rooftop Republic Urban Farming reserves the ownership and the right to publish photos and videos taken at the event, which may include participants, without prior permission, unless notified in advance of the event.

Participants will need to safeguard their own belongings. Rooftop Republic or Venue will not be held responsible for any loss or damage of any personal property.
